PDSES/TEFA Grants

Anchored is an approved provider for Texas families using PDSES and TEFA funds.

Coaching is led by Grizelda Anguiano, a Certified Professional Coach with specialized training in executive function coaching, who is also a board-certified pediatrician.

If your child in grades 3 to 12 struggles with organization, time management, getting started, or following through, these funds can go toward one-on-one executive function coaching at Anchored.

New to these funds? Start Here. Watch a short overview of PDSES and TEFA, who they are for, and how they work.

PDSES (Parent-Directed Special Education Services)

A one-time grant of $1,500 per eligible child (not recurring).

For a student enrolled in a Texas public school and receiving special education through an IEP.

Funds are released first-come, first-served, so apply as soon as possible.

Good to know: your $1,500 PDSES grant covers the 16-session coaching package in full.

TEFA (Texas Education Freedom Account)

Anchored is an approved vendor for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years. TEFA is for students who are eligible for public school but not enrolled, including homeschool and private-school families. Having an IEP helps.

How to use your TEFA funds:

1. Log in to your TEFA (Odyssey) account.

2. Search: Anchored Executive Function Coaching for Students with ADHD.

3. Choose your package:

- 16 sessions, $1,500 (code: Anchored-EF-16)

- 8 sessions, $800 (code: Anchored-EF-8)

Every package includes Dr. Anguiano's signature executive function course, a $197 value, free. All sessions are 1:1 personalized coaching.

What the coaching is

One-on-one, in person or virtual executive function coaching for students in grades 3 to 12, including students with ADHD, learning differences, and executive function challenges. Coaching builds the skills school depends on but rarely teaches: organization, planning, time management, task initiation, working memory supports, self-monitoring, and follow-through. It is supplemental to the services a student's school district provides.

Anchored Coaching is educational skill instruction and operates as a separate business from any medical practice. It is not therapy, medical treatment, testing, or diagnosis, and it does not replace services a student is entitled to through an IEP or 504 plan.
